i just bought this 93 bonne 2 months ago.

here is the problem,
when im on idle mode i have this vibration, you can even notice the vibration
even your in the backseat.
and when step on the gas and move forward i have much stronger vibration.when im on the 3rd-4th gear, the vibration are getting lighter and ligher when i reach up to 120kms it runs smoothly.

and when i brought it to mechanic, he said that i have busted engine support all 4 of them. im planning to change the engine support when i saw this thread about vibration.
they found out that the vibration are coming from coil pack.

any advice pls, what should i do first..

1. is the Service Engine or Check Engine coming on (dashboard)?
2. When it is vibrating at idle, listen to the exhaust; is it making a "misfire" sound (not smooth)?

You told me you are from Saudi Arabia, so there may be language problems. Just let me know if there is something that is not understandable.

Okay, you may have multiple problems. But lets see what the engine codes are.

You should have this computer port below the steering column.

If so, here is the code retrieval procedure (in Techinfo). Just requires a metal paper clip.

Do NOT disconnect the battery. That would be bad, because it will erase the codes you have stored.
Here is the procedure in brief. So take a pen and paper to write them down.
1. Basically you are going to short A & B together with the bent bare metal paper clip.
2. Then, turn the key on, but don't start.
3. If you watch the Service Engine light, it will start flashing.
4. First it will do "1" flash, followed by "2" flashes, which is a "12" and says the diag. is working.
5. After flashing "12" 3 times or so, Start watching and counting.
6. The first digit will flash (count) then the 2nd digit.
It will do this 3 times before going to the next code.
7. When it has displayed all the codes this way, it repeats, coming of with the "12" again.
8. You can shut it down and remove the clip now.

NOTE: It will display any codes stored since they were last cleared. So you may see some old ones too. Write them all down, etc. That way, you can later disconnect the battery to clear them and start over, with your test drives, or whatever, and see what codes are gone and which ones are showing up now.

We can move to the other symptoms after we know what codes are present.

ive tried to read the codes but some are hard to understand
because im have no knowledge in engines

Code 22 is for the Throttle Position Sensor(TPS) on the Throttle Body (TB). These have a habit of failing and usually cause fluctuating idle speeds, racing idle speeds, and are also used on the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) to kick in. Rather than doing some various voltage checks and resistance checks, and due to your location and time change, plus the failure history of these TPS, I would recommend replacing it. Can you get or online order parts there? I am having problems with Photobucket and have a better picture if I can get it uploaded. For now here is one that may help identify its location:

Code 23 is the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor- The computer is sensing a high resistance so it is very likely unplugged or the wire damaged. This is also used in idle and fuel air mix, etc. It is located in the air filter box (mounted through the side). Check the wiring on this. This is NOT the same as the IAC valve on the TB. Here are a picture:


Code 38 is that it is sensing a bad input from the brake pedal circuit, used for the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) in the transaxle. A couple of things that can cause this is a blown fuse #16 in the main drop down fuse panel under the dash. It is a 10 amp. Or you may have a problem with the brake switch or its plug. This is part of the switch that works the brake lights. Are the brake lights working?

Finally, Code 66 is low AC freon. But you recharged it, so it is probably just left over code.

First thing I would do is to, now, clear out the codes by disconnecting the battery ground cable for a couple of minutes and then reconnect. Go ahead and check the wiring and plug to the IAT.

Test drive your car. Drive it over 35 mph (80KPH?) and make sure the brakes are pressed at least 4 times.
Then, check to see what codes are present that need attention. FYI, not all these codes will make the SES light come on, so be sure to do the check.

So, for immediate fixes, check that IAT wiring/plug. If/when you can, have the TPS replaced. There is no adjustment on 93 TPS.
Be hearing from you. I am not at my PC today, very much, so be patient with me replying. I know the time difference makes it a problem.

Code 22: finding parts here is very difficult due to language barrier.. they didnt know the names of the parts unless you have example to show. ill print the TPS and i hope i can find here. BTW if i have the new TPS, it that hard to replace? i dont know how to..
and do you think the vibration coming from Code 22?

Code 23 : ill try to fing out if its unplug or damage the wires. if damage can i replace it? is there any specific wir to use? and what are the effects of this Code 23?

Code 38 : i heared a little sound and i felt a little viration when i push an easy step on the pedal.. ill try to find Fuse # 16. my brake lights are fine no doubt about it.

They are not hard to change; just 2 screws. However it is a little difficult getting the screws tightened back down because of location. Also, the moving part needs to be properly mated with the throttle part.

Code 23: One thing the IAT input effects is ignition timing. The computer thinks that there is cold air coming in the air filter.

Code 38: That brake switch has 2 parts; one for the lights and one for the TCC circuit. So at least it sounds like the plug is most likely on it.

Q: Did you have a chance to clear the codes and test drive to see if you still have them or any new ones?

ive tried to connect the broken tubes with electrical tape. but nothings happens
