94 passenger front door lock problem
Passenger front door will not unlock with remote or either switch, but will lock from both.
Any suggestions?

Had the same problem on my 1994 Bonneville. Power lock mechanism is bad, the torque sense switch releases and turns the motor off before the arm has moved past the detent. Tried cleaning/greasing, NG.
Try gmpartsdirect.com, part number for front passenger door is 16637786. The power lock mechanism is one piece with the latch, costs around $40.
Not too hard to change, just greasy...

on my 96 se, the passenger door acted the same way. i was able to get a $10 rubber bumper kit to install and works like a charm. tough to explain until you actually pull the box out. kit came with all new plastic bushings for the snap in connections. does the door lock still "click" like it wants to move it?

The lock tries to move but seems to get stuck. Opens manually and closes with both switches and remote. My problem will be door panel removal. Read proceedures in techinfo, never done it b4. Think I'll buy part and pay someone.
Thanks Guys for your help.
