Default Belt squeaks when cold, weak tensioner?

Hi, guys, the annoying guy, me is still here. After replacing the intake manifold, a bad MAP sensor, a bad alternator with an AAP refurbished P**, the belt, the sway bar link, and fighting with p0171 because of vacuum leak, now the car is running great. One relatively small thing here. I would really appreciate for your suggestion.

Now the drive belt squeaks when it'* cold in the morning. Water helps for 1 minute. I have a bottle of belt conditioning by CRC and it helps for a couple of hours, maybe. After the 30 miles on the highway probably, the squeak goes away. I can more or less feel that the belt is tighter when warm with my fingers (it could be psychological effect though). The odd thing is that I didn't notice the squeak with my old alternator and the new belt. So what do you think, a weak tensioner? It'* kind of cold here this several days, 38F or so and quite some cars on the streets are squeaking like mine. It'* not that loud. I can barely hear it on the highway. But it'* quite annoying.

Oh, yes, which belt dressing liquid do you suggest if it could help? Thanks!

what kind of belt is it....

did you clean all the pulleys throughly before putting on the new belt

yes it is very possible that the tensioner is weak...but before diagnosing that far, can you tell what it is that is squealing? its possible that something is seizing, do you ever hear any crackling noises? just try to track down what is squealing, WP, PS, ALT, A/C, or Crank

If you can, take the belt off and see if any pulleys are excessively hard to turn.

The belt was from AAP. I think it'* this one. Too bad I didn't know I should get a gatorback instead at that time.

Yes, I cleaned th pulleys but haven't checked them. It sounds like it'* around the alternator (the guy in AAP agrees too) and no, I have never heard any cracking noises.

well try turning the pulleys with the belt off...thats the easiest way to see if something is seizing.
