Default Getting a 93 ssei, anything important I should know?

I'm going to be looking at and more than likely purchasing a 1993 dark red metallic (hopefully right) with tan leather ssei...it'* got the moonroof, supercharger, all that options etc. it has around 130k miles on it I think..I currently own a 98 sse so I pretty much know how everything should be, but I didn't know if there was anything important I should know that I don't. Thanks in advance..

Since you have the 98 I doubt my limited knowledge would be much help...It'* free...so here goes.
Think 93 was the last year for the full digital dash. Just make sure it all works. Let it run while looking at it...always do this when buying used. Until the fans kick on or it blows up from overheating. Then you don't have that problem. (Why didn't I do that?)

The digital is actually nice because from reading here you can retrieve much more data from your car than the 94 and up'* can. 130K...sounds nice...good luck

There were no differences to speak of between the Dash on the 92-99 SSEi'*.

93 was the last year you could extract PCM codes with a paperclip, and ECC codes from the ECC controls. Both procedures are in Techinfo. Print them and take them when you go to look at the car.

93 is a fairly 'clean' year as far as problems go, but do ask the seller if he knows whether the trans cooling lines were ever replaced. If not, buy the car and replace them. They're not much $$.

Default help

anyway you could directly link me to the procedures in techinfo. I'm on a very limited schedule as the next time I'll get a chance to be on here will be whatever time I get while my girlfriend is in the shower tomorrow morning before I go look at it(which surprisingly will not be that long, tomorrow anyway :P )

Thanks

Okaaayyy...

1) You're at your girlfriend'* house

2) Girlfriend is in the shower

3) You've got two choices:

3a) Get on the computer and start reading about Bonnevilles
3b) Ask girlfriend if she needs help washing her back, etc...

Now, I like my car a lot, but c'mon now...

actually, i was at my own house, and since i live with my girlfriend it'* not necessary to shower together 3 times a day. That was the thing back in high school, but it'* not that big of a deal anymore.

And yes, Bonneville'* are worth it
