Default Pontiac Bonneville Clicking Sounds

Hey guys, new to the forums here and have a question for ya'll. I've got a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville. While driving the car, a clicking sound can be heard from under the glove box on the passengers side. I have removed the panel and found out that it is some kind of switch. At first, I disconnected the switch, which stopped the clicking sound but in turn, has disabled my whole AC unit (the AC display shows only two '--' marks, and is unable to control). Upon doing so, this has disabled my defrost. So the switch remains plugged in with the constant clicking sound and hot air constantly blowing out of the vents, almost as if the heater is stuck on. If i try to change any of the air settings, it just keeps on blowing out that hot air. Someone help! Thank you in advance.

From the sounds of it your air mix actuator is stripped out. You may be able to repair it by gluing it, or you will need to replace it. A salvage yard may be a good option as you can remove it and learn how it'* done.

Best bet is to replace the actuator with a new one.

No glue will hold these little Humpty Dumpty'* together.

Okay i'll give this a shot. Does anybody know a website that may sell these parts? I know they discontinued the parts but was hoping to find a site before going to a junkyard.
