Arrow Making A Feather Touch Pedal?

So I'm getting more comfortable with my Bonneville I'm feeling more part of the car and not like I'm driving it. But one thing that is holding me back is the stiffness of the accelerator. Has the same feel as my dad'* old 92 Blazer. I was wondering if there is a way to free it up or is it this and this only. Thanks

The spring is part of the TB as an assembly. Surely it comes off, but finding one that'* lighter might be tough.

Have you ever thought about hitting the gym and gaining some leg muscle?

Gotta love cruise control. Ya, finding a circular wound spring that would be looser and fit is going to be a tough one. And I'm sure any attempts to modify the hardened OEM one resulting in it snapping.

You can try lubing up the cables and the pivits on the peddle. Not sure how much that will help, but every little bit.

My thoughts were one from a car with a smaller TB. Like a 3.1 or 3.4L. While I am unsure if GM used different springs, it'* a thought. Althogh I'd think they were consistent on the weight of the springs.

hmm that might work cause I had a cutlass with a 3.1 and the throttle was light on it. There aren't springs on the pedal itself I could change?

There might be a spring on the pedal, but the main pressure comes from the spring on the TB.
