I have a 95 Bonnie SSE with sunroof. I parked it outside all winter.

Anyway, the back floorboards on both sides have been damp-puddles for awhile.

Come to find out that my electronic door locks don't work either, any of them. My lights stay on no matter what I do now. [twilight sentinal?]

Also, AC has never worked, the pump makes weird sounds, Should have it checked for freon leaks before just replacing the pump and recharging?

Heat stays on all the time unless I remove a fuse under the hood near the firewall. (even then it just turned off the blowers heat still comes in) Temp gauge says it'* 170 degrees. I assume my temp sensor went out, but why would the heat be on all the time no matter what?

Tried the ground buss connectors, looked alright. Pass. side was under water though :( cleaned em up a bit, door locks still don't work, no sound coming from the doors.

Cable up by driver side bus was under water too and a lot came out of my lower trim when I parked it on a hill. I don't have any sort of manual as of yet so...

I'd be on the ground busses that are up by the driver and passenger front doors.

On the lights... remove your headlight switch..unplug it and look for melting/or burned areas on the connector and switch.

I'll definately check that (for the door locks at least), but water wasn't leaking in the front as far as I can tell... I saved the helpful Tutorial and will try it out.

What exactly do you mean by "headlight switch" The ****?

All of the problems except the heater being on all the time and AC are recent from this winter. I lost my licence and quit driving for the last 3 months and I go to check it out and there is water everywhere.

I see a lot of sunroof leak threads, I'm going to check "the drain Holes in the front corners"

Should I just check all the fuses? Is there a pass. side fuse box on the 95? Sadly it came with no owners manual, so I am going to have to guess, buy a manual, or get someone knowedgeable to fix or diagnose it

Thank you! I had seen that thread, but didn't know it had anything to do with my problem. I will have to check ground busses, and headlight switch, if you guys think that those are the problem.

I really don't see how that would be the cause of my problems though. My front never got wet at all as far as I can tell. All the wetness was in the rear floorboards, and trunk. I was on 3'rd shift and hardly ever had passengers in my car. I didn't notice the wetness in the back at first, but I sure would have noticed puddles in the front.

Your carpet padding under the carpet is a sponge. A wet rear can cause corrosion on the front ground busses.

Check those, we'll go on from there if we need to.

BTW.. on the headlight switch. It might not necessarily be your problem. However it is a problem that should be addressed. I've yet to find a 95 with sentinel w/o a burnt connector/switch.

Fully charged battery. Checked Ground Busses. Little corrosion, but get this, the passenger side one was under almost and inch of water. Drained everything, If I could just get my seats out I would rip all the carpet up, but the rail that the seats slide on is being stubborn.

Door locks still won't work. I can hear no sound coming from any of the doors, locks were not the best to begin with; as the guy I bought it off of removed both doors for some reason and didn't quite get it to go back together right.

Trunk fixed itself and closes and opens fine now. Headlights still stay on, all I have to do is start it or turn the key once, and I have to disconnect the battery to get them to turn off.

Might get a new switch from a 96? That would involve removing the dash?
I'm not even driving the car right now, so I want to diagnose the root of the problem(*) which I think comes from it leaking water horribly, and soaking everything it touches.

Anything else I can check besides the ground busses? I didn't see any blown fuses or anything, but I might have missed something.

Question: What is under the glove box. There was a clicking sound coming from under the glovebox, right behind the fuses (it looks like a cdrom drive with 2 IDE cables coming off it)
I'm gonna have to drive it through a car wash or power wash it with the carpet out to see if I can spot any leaks, My headliner Is loose a little in the back, but I have never felt it get wet over the rear seats, the seats were always dry, but my floor is still soaking wet. Perplexing.
