Clearing sunroof drain
About how long of a piece of wire will I need to insure it goes all the way through the drain tube and out the other end?

While I have never needed to clean my drains. The tubes look like a small plastic corregated piece. If you attempt to push wire or some hard item down it you most likely will get caught on the corregation. And possibly put the tube off the outlet from the sunroof. However..I have not ever attempted this...I'd like to hear from someone that has before saying thoset things would happen.
The tubes run from the sunroof toward the wheel wheel in their respective corner. For example the driver front drain, comes out behind the front driver wheel well. Say 8 feet?

You can use wire if it'* not too rigid, and you bend the tip back so that it goes in with the loop first. Make sure the end of the loop is close to the wire itself after the bend so it doesn't snag on the way back out.
Consider pulling your pillar trim (A and C) and starting the wire from inside the car. You can hold onto the tube that way.

undo the lower portion of the inner fender piece and remove all the dirt and stuff from there first. that is what causes the blockage to begin. Then I just used an air compressor in the drain hole to blow the rest out.
Ofcourse, those who know my car know how easy it is to get to those.
I will post pictures later of what I am talking about.

OK guys, the drain tube had disconnected from the drain hole in the sunroof. I was able to get to it by removing the A and B pillars and drivers side shade in order to pull the headliner down enough to get to it. I then cut the plastic factory tube and spliced it with nylon tube. I heated the ends of the nylon tube to make it stretch just enough to insert the spliced piece of plastic tubing. I then put some silicone sealant on the plastic hose and inserted it back in to the drain hole. This gives me a little extra length to the hose so hopefully it will not pull out again. Now I have to wait for a good long rain to see if I got it right.

I actually wrapped the upper more portion of the plastic with an electrical to keep water from coming through the split. I havent had a chance to to do any result fininding yet because car at mech waitning on an engine but i went to visit my baby one day while in shop and notticed some sediment in headliner as if I still has a leak.

fyi.. when i was doing this, i duct taped a straw to the end of my garden hose and shoved that in the hole.. the pressure built up and really forced anything out of that drain...
