UIM Question
I just checked the date on my UIM to see if I'm luck or not..... I read the techinfo on this and the year listed on my UIM is a 1... For the year, the numbers are 0, 1, 2, 3. Is this 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003?

Looks like it. You should have 2 other stamps on it also. One for month, and one for day of month.

If its a 01, you might want to consider replacing the upper intake and lower gaskets in the near future to avoid problems in the future

Thanks Don.... Grrr, these intakes were used from 95 up and an intake made in 01 is still affected! GM, will you ever learn? That means my UIM has been replaced once for a failure and still may fail again.

I'm planning on using that one too...heh, heh. Plus, you can at least replace the LIM gasket one time now with the new aluminum-framed one and that should do it.
disclaimer: (To the best of our knowledge at this time since the aluminum-framed gasket is still new. )
