92 SSE gauges are wacky.............
I just picked up a white 92 SSE from my Mom <------- yea I know that sounds weak but ohhh well.
It runs like a champ and the car is ready to go for a bunch of years.
My only complain is that the dash warning lights sometimes stay on and sometimes not. Like the trunk, rear tail lights, door and somthing else will all be on. But everything is fine
Is this common for the gauges to wack out ?
Thanks for the time

on the lights that are out.....go and check them, remember that the license plate lights are on the same circut....remove the blubs, check them to be sure that they are clean and then reinstall the lights with some dilectric grease on them, also an Incorrect bulb will also make the Dash indicate a light out....so check that also

My issue is that the check lights like the door, trunk, rear lamp and such somtimes are always on !!!! even tho there are no problems at all.

ooooo ok....
what you have to do is then check the connections at the cluster of the dash....
the procedure for checking and removal of the cluster is in techinfo at the top of the page....
