Default Windy!

Ever since we got our car, we have had a little problem with some of the seals. When you are driving at highway speeds, you get a little wind noise in the car. I cant seem to figure out if it is the window seal or the door seal, but I was just wondering if you guys had any advice for me! Thanks!

Most likely the door seal. You really need to figure out where it'* coming from to figure out how to fix it. Try the wet finger trick.

92, if you give me the description of the pieces that are leaking, I can give you the GM part numbers to run through gmpd. I just posted this info for the 87-91 last week.

lick your finger and move it along the edge of the door while driving. when air blows on it it will feel colder

Thanks! I just went out and looked over both both rear door seals (on the door frame), and they both seem to be in about the same general condition (they're fairly springy along the bottom and up the sides, but are a little flatter and less springy on the upper rear half of the door). The passenger door is where the noise is coming from.

Assuming the wet finger treatment shows it'* the door frame and not the window that'* leaking, do you have any words of wisdom on fixing the air leak?

Thanks...
