i took my car to the dealership and they said it was the camshaft interupter magnet sensor so i replaced it and my light is still on. i also have problems with the car because sometimes when i start the car, i put it in drive and it has no power. i have to punch it and it revs high and has little power for afew moments. then it catches up and it takes off. i cant figure out what is going on. i have to take the car back to the dealership and find out if it is the same code happening and the will scan it for free. please let me know what is going on with my car. that is the best description i could give you.

Codes will be the biggest help, but can you tell us about the age of all the tune-up items?

new plugs and wires in December. Is having a new cat put on today. just chanded oil. New filter & such (air) at the same time as the spark plugs. No codes are stored now. they cleared the computer but my SES light is still on. they said that there were just history codes before they cleared the computer. I cannot understand. they said that after my Cat is replaced that maybe my light will go off because they said that it was severly clogged up!!!

The catalytic converter on a 94 can't set an SES. There is no 2nd O2 sensor on your car.

If the light is on, there should be a CURRENT code.

unfortunately the dealership said that there is no current code and i cant make the dag nab light go out. My car does run a heck of a lot better with the new cat on there. i actually have power again. for a little while there i felt as if i was driving my Reliant again!!! Now i can tell i am back in the bonneeeeee!!!!!!!
