Need Radio Codes.
Getting radio codes from a GM dealer here in Canada is like going to a dentist. Anyone able to get radio coded for a GM Delco radio for me. I believe I repaired the blank out display on the 97 Ei radio and I picked up a spare at the yard in case my repair doesn't work.
1. Delco Model # 16232131 Serial # 89BSZLM225870226 - Picked up at yard.
2. Delco Model # 16213362 Serial # 89BNJFR271050075 - 97 Bonne SSEi.
Thanks

Ok, just so I understand this correctly, since I removed the radio to repair the display, I now need a tech 11 scanner to unlock the radio again?
What happens when you disconnect the battery or put in a new one? I never got the radio codes off of the previous owner since they didn't know it.
So I'm screwed?

Does the display say "LOC"?

If the display says LOC, ya, you will need a tech2. You might get lucky though. I changed my battery shortly after I bought the car and locked the radio. I opened the owners manual and found a 3 digit number on the inside cover. I entered that number and the radio unlocked. Look threw the owners manual.

I haven't installed either one yet since I wanted to install the one that I have access to the code.
I check the owners manual and found no codes but it was worth a try, thanks Dan.
There are over 50 Vette forum, I'll have to try the most popular ones I guess. Are you saying you did it without a tuner Bill?

I poked around a bit, a lot of people needing help, a few saying they can help, just send a PM and that'* all. Another saying donate and we will help, others want money. No one seems to have the help listed. But I didn't really look all that deep. Bill said there is a factory code to unlock, but I didn't see it listed anywhere. Not like you want that out anyways. I saw several people mention the sealership want'* around $50 to do it. If you do find the procedure, send it to me in PM and we will keep it here to help others in the future.
