Default Ever see a car fart?

I was sitting up an inclined driveway in Park waiting for my friend to start his car and was just messin' around with the shifter while in Park by gently pushing on the shifter ***...which you obviously can't budge without pushing in the brake. So anyway, I'm fiddling around waiting when suddenly the car just shuts off!

No rpm change, no rough idle, no Engine light, no nothing. As if I just turned off the ignition key. What? Why? How? HELP!

Even more important, do you have a sunroof?

If you have the sunroof option, there'* a safety built in if you're on an incline. To remind you to close the sunroof before starting the car, and prevent rain from rolling into the opening in the roof.

This is actually a nice feature, I have seen this before. Makes the same *ding" sound like when you open the door. Anything to keep the leather dry . I'll be lookin for it on my 99...when the time comes of course.

The problem is that the shutoff feature is a bitch to adjust. It'* a microswitch in the shift quadrant.

Do you look at my signature? Do you see a sunroof there? NO YOU DON'T!

Haha, just giving you all crap.

Anyway, yes she started right back up with no problems. Still runs fine.

Maybe it didn't like how you were touching it.

Girl'* have a tendancy to turn off when i touch them the wrong way too.

But seriously. All cars were wired for it. It'* stupid to change a wiring harness when you dont have too.

Default well...

My 87 does it all the time, but then again it idles low (like 590rpm) and sometimes dips below and shuts off. It also ratles(not in the sound way, the vibration way) worse then my truck when its idling... lol and my trucks a diesel!
