Default Taking off the cover that is next to the air filter is hard

I am trying to take the cover off to see if everything is hooked up because i have a P1441 code but the screws just turn and turn and turn. they wont go up so i can take the cover off. thsi car is getting on my nerves already

What cover" next to the air filter"? In general, if a screw will spin, you can get something under the head while you turn it to get it out. My filter box screws are like that. I have to lift up on the box to get the screws to grab and come out.

the 2 loooong screws are on this black cover next to the driver side fender. i dont know what its called.

He'* talking * II PCM cover....He'* talkin about codes....PCM 96-99 is under the air box or something like that......92-95 is in the right side kick panel.

look to the right of the air box in this pic. that black plastic piece is the cover i am talking about with the 2 screws this is the 97-96 design. the 98-99 has a different look. but this pic shows what i am talking about
