Need Help With Ground Locations

I did find one link for it but it I think it's dead. My 96 SSE just quit on me last night and without getting too long winded I had to run a ground to my driver's window switch to get the fuel pump full power. At one point every contact on the window pod had power! I think I'll start with cleaning grounds and anything to speed me up would be helpful. Wiring is far from my forte'

First two ground to check are located at the door sills for both driver and passenger front. Pull back the carpet about where your left foot would rest if you were driving. Find the wiring loom that runs along the door. Taped to that loom will be a retangular ground buss. Same location on the passengerside. Clean them both up. Most likely your driver side is badly corroded.

Thanks very much. I will try those first. I may do the battery cables and the starter ground at the same time. Let you know.

If you are aiming into all of that.. when you unhook the battery cables, pull the bolts out of the boots, the pull the boots off the cables. Plenty of corrosion likes to get in there as well.

Neg battery cable hooks to the front of the motor right behind the ac. 13mm bolt.
Don't forget the ground on the back side of the engine right next to the oil pressure sender.

Well I did the cables. Negative on the block. Negative ground at the batt. And the 2 kick panels. Nothing looked too bad at all but I scuffed them up and put some dielectric grease on all. The engine ground will have to wait till I get my ramps and can get underneath. Had some sparks when I hooked up the neg. after cleaning which bugged me a bit but the trunk was open so maybe it was the light drawing power. Only time will tell I guess.
Thanks again for the help. Much appreciated.
