1995 sse N/A. Can a motor seize if car has over heated. I'm looking to buy a sse, The guy said the overheated and seizeed up, I,m thinking hydrolock. The car has 150,000 miles.

If they kept driving it while it was overheating it could certainly seize....

couldnt tell you the answer but it is deffinatly possible (overheat, oil gets broke down, metal seizes together)

I would NOT pay more than $2-500 for it (if it has good interior/exterior and is worth saving) in the likely possibility you will have to replace the engine.


EDIT- at first look it appears i said $2,500.. NOT true... i meant $200 to $500

(Just had to make it PERFECTLY clear )

Stay far away. It'* most likely due to an upper intake failure, which means major rust and heat damage.
