need help 95 bonnie wont start

I have a 95 bonnie and its been running pretty good latly except for the tranny and all of a sudden the other day i was turning a corner and without any warning the car just died. It would not start back up but the fuel pump would stay running like the car was running but the car was not. The speedometer was also jumping all over the place just randomly with the key on...i dont know what is wrong i checked all the ground i could think of and wires. They were all pretty good shape, and the car does crank..and does have spark just wont start..anyone have any clues?? thought maybe crank sensor?

Attempt to start it again, and pull one of the sparkplugs. If its wet, then we know the fuel is being delivered. Then we can check the ignition system.

If the plug is wet with gas, then I would guess crank sensor went out.

well we seem to be getting fuel to the fuel rail and we checked and we are getting spark but we did pull a plug out and it was dry..so idk maybe this helps a little..

Something is not allowing the injectors to fire. Did you check all of your fuses in both fuse blocks inside the car?

If all fuses are good, you may have a cranksensor issue as Dan mentioned.

Cranks, fuel at rail and spark to plugs. That points to the fuel injectors not firing.

The PCM and MAF sensor are the two items that typically control that. Unplug the maf sensor and then try to start the car, it might want a little throttle or for you to help it idle for a few moments. If it doesn't start this way, check the fuel injector fuse. W/o power from the fuse, the injectors can't work.

After those are both tried, I would aim toward the pcm.

Are you sure that it have fuel pressure? Cause if it have spark and fuel at least it will turn on or misfire, verify the fuel pressure. Do you scan the codes?

Ok, now that I am home from work now, I can peruse through the 95 FSM and see what else to check for.

Test the circuit. https://www.gmforum.com/showthread.p...14#post1392214

i actually tested and got the correct voltage going to the injectors
