Engine Stumbles on Accelerate / Rattling from the Transmission ?
Okay, so I have two questions, and I would greatly appreciate any help given.
First, when ever I drive and I begin to accelerate my engine stumbles and losses horse power. Nevertheless I was thinking it could be bad gas that I have bought, however I always buy my gas from Shell, therefore I don't believe I could have gotten any that was bad. By the way I have done a tune up with the spark plugs and wires, so that I believe is also out of the question.
Secondly, when driving and I begin protruding up a hill my car will drop down into a low gear or it will kick the cadillac converter, and then proceeds with some kind of noise rattling from the transmission. With that being said my transmission has already been built once before.
Again, any information given, regarding this matter would help out a lot. Thanks!

Test your coils, plugs, and wires. Check your fuel pressure. Pull the plugs and inspect them. Do any of them look different? they should all be a light dull gray. If any differences, note which cylinder and post it here.

Do you feel that the engine is stumbling and losing power or that the rpm stay constant/building up and the trans is slipping/shuddering?
Do you do one wheel burn outs or tear around corners to get the tires to break free?
When was the trans rebuilt and how many miles are on it?

but when the trans is slipping/shuddering it does jump bc i seen it befor , never the less my Check eng lite came on when it was stumbling to day in it gave me the code P0102 MAF Of VAF circuit low input , , i only burn out when its wet out side , so idk about that !
the trans was rebuilt about yr in a half ago in i would say about may 4,000 or 5,000 on it

Also check your fluid. Keep in mind the size of those wheels puts a lot of strain on the transmission. You should monitor the fluid temp and watch the color of the fluid.
