Default Heating and cooling isues , need help !!

I am new to the site and I want to say , I am impressed with the Bonnevilles I have seen so far . I need to cut to the chase though . I have a 93 SSEi , and I just recently had the starter rebuilt , and replaced the battery . I now have no heat , and my electric cooling fans don't work either . I did replace the thermostat , and the dealership says they need to hook it up to a scanner to get any clue as to what might be wrong . I was wondering if anyone can offer up any kind of suggestion so I can save 60 bucks . I am currently on workers comp due to an injury at work , so money is tight for my kid and I . Thank you , Jeff Z.

Cooling fans as in radiator fans? Check the fuses and relays under the MAXI-fuse cover on the back of the engine bay. I think the fuses are labeled. The relays are not. I think the farthest relay to the driver side is the high speed fan. The one next to it is the low speed fan. Switch them around, see what happens.

Found the fans wouldn't come on when I got my 95. Pulling the relay out, adding dielectric grease, then putting it in and pulling back out about 4 times cleaned the connectors. It'* a magical feeling.
