This gasket came with the lower manifold kit... Anyone know where its supposed to go?

You can see part of that gasket in this picture under the cover that is half removed. Look behind the crossover pipe under the throttle body, and you'll see the cover.

i just went to autozone in search of that gasket.. they didnt have it.. even with their LIM gasket kit..

i ended up making one out of gasket material... but it doesnt have that special glue stuff on it...

im still interested in buying that one

Strangely enough....that gasket comes with the UIM gasket set, at least from Felpro. The most recent GM LIM gasket set I bought did finally have that gasket as part of it.

Haro...I may have an extra...I'll get back to you.

marty called me after seeing this thread.. he said i can get one at napa for $.50...

im gonna call there tomorrow.. if anyone wants to toss it the mail, ill gladly cover shipping charges
