Strange, 2 manifolds.
Well the shop today decided to just take a manifold from my old engine and swap it into my new one (new one cracked). They put it on her, started her up and for some reason this one cracked too. Im very confused, im pretty sure the old one leaked also but from a gasket not a crack. Whats the possibility of 2 of them being faulty, and what the heck can cause that....?

The engine was acting sorta funny so i had the shop check it out, my cam sensor was broken, the metal magnet thing wasnt even there anymore. They said its running much better now besides the fact that its ruining manifolds and not on the road....

You're cracking your lower intake manifold? You gotta be kidding me, or you're misunderstanding the shop. If that'* actually true, you gotta have something really crazy wrong with the heads or block, or it'* installed wrong. Has it ever been off the car? Where'd the motor come from?

Yeah I'm sure the cam sensor being broken is causing a backfire thats cracking your intake. Believe it or not the car can run without a cam sensor, it just goes off the last known position but if something changes it has no clue and still fires at the same time. Get that fixed asap.

Ugh im sorry, i did it again, its my rear exhaust manifold that keeps getting messed up. And i know that the cam sensor wasnt causing that, i was just stating that its running better now that its fixed. And i was there the 2nd time they put a new manifold on, well good used manifold, and they started it up, seemed fine for a bit then sounded like A$$, took it off and sure as heck theres a crack, dont know what to do, i know my BCS is FUBAR'd right now so maybe its letting in too much pressure and not dumping any?? Any ideas are welcome.
