Default I have an exhaust leak and a rattle noise while acceleration

The exhaust leak make the ticking noise underneath my car but does it also make your car sound like you have true dual exhast? I really can actually put some chrome tips on the back and fool some ppl. I even set some car alarms off and my radio isnt even on. Now for the rattling noise, I hear upon acceleration, is that the cat vibrating?
