Default noise from super charger

hey guys, i am getting a fast clunking noise from my supercharger when its idling, if i push on the gas the sound goes away, any ideas on what may have gone out in the supercharger

How do you know for sure that its the supercharger?

You can confirm it'* the charger by removing the belt (actually untensioning it) and turning the charger pulley back and forth quickly. If you have a clunk/play in it, then that'* the coupler. You can get the coupler, instructions, oil etc at RollingPerformance.com for about the best price.

Toughest part is there'* no room between your charger and the accessory bracket on your Series I motor and you'll have to pull the charger to replace the coupler.

thank you i hear it coming from the nose, also i believe the super charger is leaking oil becouse when i checked it it was almost empty, could this still be the coupler, does it have any way of using oil otherwise?

Snout bearings and or seal could be going out. Check for play in the shaft.

Our chargers typically seep a little oil. They take (S2) 8oz and GM FSM states that we should check it every 30K miles and top off as needed. The usage is normal from the sound of it.
