turn signal arm is loose and high beams wont turn on!!
ok well i took my car in for inspection and it got failed due to the non-working high beams, i couldnt believe they failed me for that. I means its not like they are stuck on like they were when the switch first broke ha that wasnt a fun ride home, got flashed about 15 times. After i started taking the plastic covering off the steering column i found the rod that turned them off and extended it so i could still use, it but it is not good enough for the mechanic who broke off one of my lug studs and claimed that i cross-threaded it. Needless to say im not going back to that place after i get my tags. but back to the point does anyone kno how to fix this problem, i found a few threads talking about it but never found a fix. ill put up pics as soon as i get them.

The switch is called a Pivot switch inside the steering column, the part number for my 92 bonneville was GM #26037734, my price on it was $30.75.
