Default motor swap on a 96 N/A to supercharge

I have a 96 bonneville that was N/A and i ended up spinning the bottom end on that motor so i swapped it for a super charged motor { im not sure what the motor came out of i bought online off of a junk yard, it bolted right up but it had to massive dog bones that ar eon the front of the block and the 2 idle pulley where wrong }
but i was wondering is it ok to run the car with out any boost control or boost by-pass

It'* not great to run the car that way. Although I don't know 100% what it will do. I would idle and putt around slow w/o getting on it until you get a harness in there.

ZZP Performance sells a couple things to help you along. One is the boost control wiring and the other is a map extender. Both are a walk in the park to add. Then if you had your PCM updated to a 1996 SSEi and changed the gear ratio to the ratio in your existing transmission...you'd be rockin and rolling like any other supercharged Bonneville.

Default update

well i got a boost gauge hooked into the car and i was running at 2 to 3 pounds floored .so i when got an after market boost controller { a bleed off} and now im at about 8 psi floored. the car seems to run fine under normal driving conditions but when i get into it the feels like it gets more power then loses it then gain more then loses it again even though i keep my foot in the same position.
also i got in contact with the junk yard and they said the motor is out of a 1999 gtp but im not 100 percent that he was teling the truth . is there a way for me to find out on the motor or are all the 3.8 the same beside the n/a or the supercharged?
