Exhaust Tips
Ok, I just searched for this info for an hour, and now I'm bored/frustrated.
What is the ID of the inlet for replacement exhaust tips for my '98 SSEi. (One of them rusted and broke off :().

Well.... this time of year in Canada, technically yes... My mother saw it hanging a little low, so she touched it and it fell clean off.

Not sure about yours, but mine are 2.25". However, the 92-95 don't use attached tips. We have heatshield/tips attached to the rear bumper cover, and our outlets end before (just inside) them without touching.

Well I went out and measured them, and am getting somewere around 2.25", but I just wanted to double check with you guys, thinking there may have been some weird approximation convention for measuring and buying.
I'm currently looking at replacing both with these Magnaflow ones:
They're quite similar to stock, and are stainless so this won't hapen again.

I've been thinking about those same tips, with a Flowmaster 80. Just saving up some spare change to get there. Any idea about how much it should cost to have a shop put in the Flowmaster and tips and new tail pipe after muffler if I bought the muffler and tips myself?

Would these have to be welded on, or is there some kinda half assed clamping system I can use? Like the clamps that are in place now.
