modulator adjustment

how do you properly adjust the modulator on a 94 bonne

The shift modulator? I believe you can put a valve on to adjust the vacuum. Mike may have that info.

What problem are you trying to correct?

I also second the question, what problem are you trying to correct? If everything is working fine, but you just want firmer shifts, that is fine. The adjuster screw is inside the nipple that the hose goes on to. You will see it if you look straight on. You will need a flat screwdriver skinny enough to fit in there. I recommend adjusting in half turn increments. Crank it, go for a drive. If you don't notice any improvement after 2 full turns, you likely have issues.

How does this work exactly? If my transmission weren't already hurting, I'd try this.
