Sorta saying goodbye... :(
Bonneville Club, This morning my SHO was finally completed and its running like a bat out of hell. Amazingly, within hours, my 97 Bonneville SE was sold for my asking price..who'da thought? When I bought it back in January its soul purpose was to be a temporary car for me. So no matter how attached i got to the comfy seats, quiet ride, torquey 3.8, and room for 6, i knew I'd have to let it go. So instead of just dissappearing I wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted when I had a prob with the car or had questions about it. I have to say of all the car msg boards I am part of this is the most mature and well behaved one yet. No street racing arguements or bashing whos got a better car, just comradary found no where else. The mods must do a good job but they dont have to do much since the members are a good bunch. I will lurk or maybe even post but for now my Taurus SHO is my pride and joy. Take care all. - Chris

Awesome and glad to have you and you are always welcome. ADTR works on SHO'* every so often as well so don't hesitate to ask me. Thanks for the board being so well behaved.
Best of luck with your SHO,

Chris, good luck and godspeed.
Keep the rubber side down and come back to visit from time to time. We'll miss having that freaking gorgeous black Bonnie around. Oh, you too!
Take care.

I will say it too, I love SHO'*, my brother has one and dang they are fast. 6.7 stock 0-60 is what my brother pulled with a G-Tech. 220 HP, 200 Lb.Ft.Trq. 5-speed manual. I would love to have one, but my Bonne is good enough for now and hopfully for a long time. Too bad Bonnys weren't a manual that would be fun. I love driving manuals, but no offense people are too lazy or don't know how to use a stick shift. I think every car should have an opptional manual.
