IF it takes a while for me to shift outta first when i have my footy stuck on the floor with gas pedal in b/w is the trans plates worn out??? 150,XXX on the car

Does it like pop in out in out in out then shift or does it like go to like 5k rpm then shift?

Could be low fluid, you check that lately, low fluid will cause you to rev pretty high before it catches, id say check your fluid first and then get back to the mechanics here.
