Default Brake fuse keeps popping- no brake lights

Hi, I'm a noob when it comes to electrical, so I need help finding a short on my brake lights. I noticed today that alot of the lights on the Light monitor were on, a subsequent check of the brake lights confirmed they were out, i checked the fuse and found it blown, replaced wih a new fuse and it promtly popped as well. I don't even really know where to start, I was going to try unhooking the back harnesses for the brake and tail lights to see if that helps, but how do i check things like the brake switch and where is the relay? Thanks

Start by removing all the bulbs. Then try a fuse. If that don't blow, then start putting bulbs back in until you find the bad socket.

I fixed it! It was water in the tail lights. I'm about 80% sure on that, but I did take out and inspect all lights in the trunk, including the third brake light. The right tail had a huge amount of water, I just wicked it out with about 10 paper towels, put it all back together and tried it, no fuse pop. Thanks anyways guys :P

Ya, water in there would cause problems. Now find why there was water in there.

Well, I've known for a while that the outer tail has been leaking, but I have yet to find a decent pair at the scrap yard i go to, and Ebay hasn't been kind either.

Problem is common to the 92-95'*. Best of luck finding tails off anything but an SE in good condition.
