I need some motor mounts, trans mounts, struts, my passenger seat is broke as far as reclining it. When you lift the bar to recline back, the seat goes straight back. How can I fix this? I need a muffler. Any suggestions for a muffler or exhaust? I already have duals (SSE) a power steering pump, maybe. THe reason being is because I still have fluid in my power steering resevoir but can't turn steering wheel unless I accelorate. Once my foot is off the accelorator my steering wheel is hard to turn. I hope this is a minor prob. Once I get this done, maybe I would like this carlike I did my black car.

Do you have variable assist power steering? Do you have the 15-way power seats? Is the passenger seat a power seat?

I have to check my options for the power steering, the passenger seat is stationary and no 12-way power seat.

The passenger seat is not a power one then. When you say "bar," which part are you talking about?

Okay, if it'* a manual recliner, there'* probably a counterspring in it to prevent the seatback from flopping over backwards as soon as you lift the release lever, and it sounds like yours has broken. Suggest you just unbolt the seat from the floor, lift it out of the car and take a look-see underneath.

Don't sweat it; removing the seats is usually not as bad as it sounds. Trickiest part of it is getting the socket over the bolt head sometimes.

It'* usually a high-resistance, interference-fit bolt or nut used on the seat mounts so it won't work itself loose, meaning that you have to crank the thing _all_ the way off with your wrench; it'* not something that you just crack loose with a wrench and then spin the rest of the way off with your fingers. Kind of a pain, but there are worse jobs to do on these cars...

it sou nds like you're pulling the bar in the front of the seat tha tmakes it go forward/backward.. the handle to adjust the recliner is on the side of the seat..

I have to agree with custom, it'* not a bar it'* a lever for the reclining, and it'* on the side on the back....
