Wobbling noise at high speeds and when lightly braking
Hello,
I just recently started noticing a wobbling noise when I am at speeds ~35+. Then if I just lightly apply the brakes it gets much louder, but if I press the pedal down significantly it does not wobble. Also, when I am on the gas at all the wobbling is not present, but if I am coasting at high speeds it is noticeable.
I did take my wheels off a few weeks ago to spray paint the rims. Is it possible it just wasn't fully tightened? I feel like it would have come up before now. What else am I looking at? Rotors? Brake pads? It'* only coming from the front driver'* side as far as I can tell.
Thanks,
Kris

I should also mention the steering wheel has had "notches" when turning where it would like something was catching. I was going to flush the power steering system, but now I'm pretty sure it'* going to be related to whatever this is. Thanks

It sounds like warped rotors. its not goin be visible. its more of feelin you would get while braking. i would make sure that the rotors are still turnable and get them resurfaced. If you do not have access to micrometer, take it to a shop and have them check out your brakes. if you dont want to do that, buy new rotors d pads, put them on and take it or a spin.

Well, problem seems to be solved. I went to remove the tire today to check out the rotors, three of the lug nuts came out when removing the plastic caps. Somehow or another they must have been EXTREMELY loose. Very scary. I remember specifically torquing the **** out of those when I put the tire back on a few weeks ago. That was the first tire I did so I was extra cautious. The rotor looked fine so I put it back on and made sure everything was super tight. I went for a test drive no more noise. Also checked all the other lug nuts and they were fine.
I'll keep my eye on it.
