Losing Oil

Hi, I am losing oil. First i thought it was burning oil but i saw a few drips this morning on the pavement cannot notice where its coming from. Also gettting low pressure beep when i m idling at traffic light. I was reading thru some of the forums but i think the others were not noticing oil dripping on the ground. Plz help i bought the car only a month ago with 238k. I have warranty for seals, if it is one. Someone plz tell me which one it is so i could look it up,see if its covered.

Hey there

First things first I would check the oil pan. Are you able to jack up the car and look under there? :?:

A leaky oil pan won't cause a low-pressure condition. A leaky front or rear seal would though. Or a leaky oil filter.

You need to clean the engine top to bottom, then watch for the location of the leak. We can't help you until you nail that down.

Your low oil pressure MIGHT be a different problem, or it might not.
