Well, so far I've gotten quite a bit more power out of my new 92 SSEi.. but there is a couple of things that I think I might have to do...

Plugs, fuel filter, and exhaust so far have added lots more power, throttle response, and fuel econemy back to the car, but, I still lose power above 2500 RPMwhen the car is warm, along with a stumble/miss at idle, so I think the coil pack is going... The other thing that I think might be needing attention is the supercharger... I know there is a bit of play when rotating the pully, and when I'm driving, with fairly hard to WOT, the boost will rise, then start to drop when the RPM comes up above 3000...

So, my question is.. since I've got my 95 SSEi as a parts car, what would I need to do to make the 95'* SC work on my 92? I know the TB inlet is larger, but wouldn't the 95'* TB bolt onto the 92? As for the stovepipe.. I'm not even sure what it is and what it does, so an explenation on that would be appreciated...

Don't even attempt it. There is only ONE car that has attempted it that can even be remotely considered succesful, and another that might be 'coming around'.

It'* a long and complicated story. The bottom line is that if it'* your only car, it'* not worth the trouble or expense. It'* nowhere close to plug 'n play. Only 3 or 4 have attempted it. Only one with any kind of success.

Sell the 95 SC on eBay for mod money for the 92 and keep it reliable.

Ok.... another route that I was thinking of taking for the 92 was exactly that.. making it run proper, I get a puff of smoke from the exhaust when it idles for a bit, like from a red light.. and I know that it was overheated quite badly, you could see it on the old spark plugs, the threads were blue...

The engine in the 95 was rebuilt, I'm not sure when, but it is VERY strong, and has tremendous power... alot more than what I was anticipating when I first got it. So I was thinking about selling it whole...

Does my solutions to my power issues sound like good diagnostics? Or is there something else that I might be missing... I'm pretty sure that the smoking is from the valves being overheated, so its either redoing the valves, or pulling a good looking set of heads from the wreckers...

Oh, and could I use the 95 SC internals in the 92 SC if needed?

You can use the entire bottom end and heads/valvetrain complete.
