Default AC fan not blowing hard enough!

hey all even whe i have the ac on max it blows as if it is on the low setting...does anyone know any causes?

You might have a weak fan you should try getting a new one and poping it in. Same thing happend to my Brothers SSE. He had me replace it and it blew harder then mine. Its a easy job shouldnt take 20 min. And the fans are cheap to...

The one mounted to the fire wall under the big MAXI FUSE box well... on my 93... but the fan is in the same place for everyone.

Right, that one.

By any chance is your A/C not working? An AC/Delco radiator specialty place told me that Bonnes like to spring leaks in their evaporator cores, which get all oily on the outside, which traps dust, which clogs up the airflow. Mine'* got this problem. I think there'* a TechInfo posting on how to clean out the evaporator core (which is next to the heater core) and improve the airflow.

Good call ACG that also would be a good idea to do while your out working on your car. Its fairly easy to do even a tained ape could do it so Im sure you can do it

thanks all for the replies..my ac is working but it does not blow as hard as it should be and it really doesn't get cold enough unless i am driving..if idle it is kinda warm!

Sounds like your core is plugged. Read Techinfo. There'* an article on fixing this. It'll cost you about 5 bucks and an hour or two.

1.) Go to the Top of this Page (Where it says Bonnevile Club)
2.) Click on TECHINFO
3.) Click on Tech Know How
4.) Click on #35 Evap Cleaning
