Default Missing on #4 plug.

When ever the 97 Ei is under load or at full throttle it'* seems to be missing on one cylinder. The aeroforce scan gauge is showing multiple misses on #4 cylinder while it'* happening. When the car is driven normally there is no notice of any problems.

So far I've done the following to #4 plug and the problem still exists.
Installed new spark plug.
Installed new ignition wire
Swapped out the coil corresponding to #4 plug
Made sure the 02 sensor wire is not close to the plug wire.

Any other suggestions?

Check the fuel injector. Swap that and see if that moves the miss to a different cylinder. If that fails, you might need a new PCM.

I don't suspect a bad PCM in this case. Swapping injectors will verify if the injector is the problem. If you still have a miss after that I would pull the valve cover and insect the valve springs, you may have a damaged exhaust spring.

Update:

I replaced #4 plug wire again and will keep an eye out for any misses from the aeroforce. Mind you I'll feel it before I see it.

Maybe it'* carboning up with your "normal" driving style. You may want to get on it a bit more to keep the cylinders clean.

The only problem I see with that is why is one plug fowling up and not the others. The rear bank tends to run a tad richer then the front, but still, all 6 plugs should be about the same. If one plug is way worse then the others, you still need to find out why.

Could be an injector clip/wire etc that sometimes keeps that one from firing.

Did he post a picture of that plug? Carboned up tells me there'* fuel but bad spark, or not enough exhaust flow. I would expect low fuel but good spark to be white/gray ash build up.
