Default AC Delco O2 sensor part # question

Can anyone tell me if the AC Delco O2 sensor #AFS16P is the same as the #AFS20 and will work fine on a '92 SSEi or '93 SSEi?
I saw the list posted in the techinfo section, but there'* no mention of the AFS16P.

Thanks.

Hey Bill. Bill here. Sorry. Had to do it.

Your part number is 25162693, but make sure you have a 1-wire sensor like me. That'* the same sensor I put in mine. Confirmed.

Thanks, Bill, but I already knew the GM part number.
The problem is that the "AFS" #* are the ones on the actual AC Delco part packages. I wasn't able to find any cross-references to these "AFS" #* anywhere.

Any ideas where/how I can verify them?

Jr did all the research on the O2'*. I'm not sure where he found it all, but it was on the web and he was able to cross gm to delco.

If it helps, I'm about to go find a new Delco single-wire sensor for my '93 SSEi, so I'll post whatever info I see on the box once I've got it...

Thanks for that info...oddly enough, I called a local Pontiac dealer, and according to the parts rep, the AFS20 was only for the '88-'92 Bonneville. He didn't offer any info about the other years.

So the question remains whether or not the AFS20 and the AFS16P are interchangeable.

My SC has a single unheated.
Josh'* NA (also a 93) uses a heated. Looks like the SSEi and the SC SSE use the single unheated.

Thanks, guys, yes mine has the 1-wire sensor, but I have an opportunity to buy a couple of AFS16P sensors and save some money, and I was hoping to be able to confirm that they're interchangeable - the vendor said they are, according to Delco.

I don't want to buy them and install and find that I get 16 MPG like I do now in the '93 with a brand new Bosch sensor...
