Default ecc acting up

well i was driving today to get some dinner and i changed the direction of the air flow to the windshield and so i pressed the button and the screen showed it changed and well the air didnt change at all it just kept blowing from the front vents i tryed to change to to the floor and still nothing. well i turned it off and back on and still nothing, for like 15 mins it wouldnt do anything. then on my way home it finally changed to the windshiied so i tryed the floor and it works fine now. any ideas what happened? it isnt the first time its done it it just the most recent.
