Im not even sure how the razor blade got in there. Yes that is mold (f-in fast that stuff is!). NONE of that rust was there a month ago. What the HECK gould be leaking!? i cant find any water trails so i guess it has to be coming down on top of the carpet somewhere?

The e-brake cable hole was FULL to the TOP with water... but there was a little hole in the bottom that i was able to poke at and get to drain.

I have so little energy to go and actually TACKLE this its not even funny. But i cant let my car rust/mold away. Anyone know of a way to get mold out or order a new carpet? I am supposed to head up to columbus tomorrow night too.

I havethe same issue. You are also missing the carpet padding from under the carpet.

Next time it'* raining, check where the throttle cable comes into the car above the gas pedal. that'* where my leak is that I still have not found. It'* not as bad as you describe in mine, but it still fills the parking cable hole.

I beleive that my car never had the padding... it wasa rental car from the factory so it had a lot of 'deletes'.

OR

The more likely answer is that this has happened before and had the padding ripped out before i owned it (although it was only one owner with 39,000 miles on it)

And the other thought is my recent upgrade to high-performance all season tires... they are throwing alot more water around than my old ones used to.

The BIG leak seemed to be from up under the driver side dash.. there were no 'water trails' to speak of so it must have landed on top of the carpet somewhere.

I do have a little problem on the rear passenger side though but its real minor and rarely gets wet enough to feel. I think thats from teh rear window seal.

Default leak

Check and do the door seal fix first that Vital49 posted a while back before going hog wild. Just repositioned my drivers door seal and had a 2" gap left when I got to the bottom. Just inserted a donor piece from the yard.
