Default A gauge problem(HELP!!!!!)

sometimes(more now than before) when i put my foot on the brake, my lights flicker and my fuel, oil, temp, and volt gauges go kinda bonkers. they will twitch so to speak. what is the cause of this. also at a red light, my volt gauge will drop before 14, only sometimes though. Could be bad, corroded connections at the battery, or your alternator may be worn-out.

Yeah, it might be the altenator. Did you say that you hear some flickering too? Mine went out in the June and the stuff your talking about is pretty much similiar to what my car was doing.
