Key is stuck, so what do i do?

Ok so as i was exciting my bonneville from to walk into my house, i turn it all the way back and try to pull it out. Hint the try. So as i was pulling back it would only to Accesory and not all the way back to where you pull it out. So i started it up, tried again and still no go. Did it a couple of times still no go. So i started to drive the car, then parked then tried again and still no go. Luckily there are 2 keys and a keyless entry so i can sleep safe tonight knowing that my car will be there in the morning lol. So please help, how do i get it out?

Key stuck

Check the shifter button, my 98 has a problem now and then because the interlock has issues.

that would be a good place to start, as a way to get it out you might try jiggling the steering wheel and then trying to wiggle it until it goes back, but that might hurt some things :?

i have had this problem once....

the shifter cable can become out of adjustment...yes it can just happen....and the key wont come out...

the fix is to take the center console apart and adjust the cable underneath

Exactly my thoughts too. My sister-in-law used to have the same issue with our 99. Never actually happened to me personally, but I had to guide her through this very same issue countless times. I guess that's why you shouldn't let other people drive your car...
