question about cleaning the MAF sensor
i would like to clean my maf sensor but i have a few questions to ask, when cleaning the mass air flow sensor, do you just remove the 2 screws thats old the sensor on top and just pull the sensor out? or do you have to take out the throttle body as a whole unit? and when cleaning it with the electric cleaner spray do you spay it directly on the MAF wires?

I'm no pro, but brake cleaner sounds way harsh for me. The MAF is pretty delicate, and a replacement will set you back a few bucks. Get a can of electronics cleaner and save yourself the trouble. You should be able to get it clean by hosing it down with that cleaner and then letting it dry before putting it back in.
