Disapearing coolent?
My neighbor had a 98 Bonneville and his engine coolent kept disapering, this was happing becase the coolent was leaking through the heads and coming out the exhaust! 
My Bonneville was loosing coolent to, but after he told me this i out some engine coolent sealent in it and havent had any probllems, just keep an eye on your fluids!

Be weary about the coolant stop leak crap additives. I too have similar problem.. not as bad right now from what it appears.. it always drops down a little under cold mark when hot.. but never really went down any further.. even after I fill it up to the proper line. I say this because those additives clog everything up within the coolant system... had a friend who had to replace the heater core because of it ( too lazy to fix the radiator properly ).. which caused the cooling system to be plugged.. which in turn fried his head gasket.. warped his head.. and plugged his heater core.. I rather pay 50 bucks to replace the part ( rad / core ) then to have to spend couple hundred for a new cooling system.

I had a similar problem too (96 SE). Turned out I had a busted HTC valve under the upper intake manifold. Mech said it'* a common prob. Also had to replace the upper intake manifold due to leaking....apparently this is one of the bonneville'* weaknesses.

BTW: Dex-Cool evaporates very, very quickly! You're going to have to use coolant dye to find the leak or get a pressure test done on the system!

Coolant stop leak is JUST A TEMPORARY FIX! The problem is still there! Don't let it slide too long of more problems will develope like Head Gaskets &/or heads warp; manifolds crack & engine boils over!

You guys heard of Mark Salem? Speaking of Dex Cool, I was looking at his website where he talks about it....he dernt like it. In fact, he thinks it contributes to corrosion and recommends using the regular green stuff. You guys have any opinion on this?
