water from trunk lid
Ok im not sure if this is the place to post this but when I open my truck after I was my car or it rains, I get a shower of water. I believe it runs inside the plastic center tail light part of then lid. IS there a way I can seal it to keep the water out. I dont want it to do that this winter and have it freeze up and break my plastic parts!!

Well, I don't have your answer, but i can tell you that mine has always done this, including the three winters in Michigan and freezing water was never a problem.
The water running into the trunk when I open it after a rain IS darned annoying though and I often make up mongrel curses for the designers of that part.

Mine does it, too. But, as far as I can tell, it'* just water stuck outside the weatherstripping. I've never noticed any evidence of leaks.

Having had this part off many times..I'd say no..
There was a TSB and a possibly upgraded gasket for the top of it..but sealng it to the trunk is a bad idea. The minute you have it sealed..your backup light will burn out.

I have the solution
This is an easy fix. Let me include a picture of what I am talking about. All you have to do is pull the two rubber stoppers in the bottom of the trunk lid. I don't know how the water is getting in there but this will allow it to drain out. I have not had a problem with water in the trunk since! This is on a 00+ Bonnie, but I am assuming that the others are very similar to this. If not, sorry I guess.
