Default key stopped working

Today my key stopped working on the driver side door. I've read some of the posts and was just wondering if a new bumper kit would work. Key works on pas. and trunk fine. Power locks don't work as well. So now I have to unlock pas. side with key and reach over and unlock drivers side manually. Really annoying . Thanks in advance.

Try some penetrating lubricant on the keyhole and locking mechanism. Really dowse everything you can get to, and work the lock back and forth manually. That should help.

Because that would be the side you use more often, it'* possible the mechanism is worn and no longer being moved enough by the key to actually allow it to turn. (Points on the key push on little sliders in the tumbler that allow the cylinder to move.)
