High Idle - FIXED
well, the bonneville had this issue of idling so high that it could sustain speeds of 45 mph without touching the pedal. I thought it was a stuck throttle body and i went to clean the throttle body and realized that the throttle body gasket was rotted away! so, new gasket and car is running much smoother than before. 
hopefully this helps fuel economy too!
