Interior Water Leak.
 

This is under the parking brake release handle.
Constant 'wet spot' :lol:

There is a leak somewhere that is depositing water to the interior directly under the handle. Sometimes I'll release the brake and get a little splashback.
Where's it coming from?

Is this a common problem with the H-Body cars?

We don't have release handles. Fords do though! :lol:

J/K. Seriously though, I know what you mean. But I've never heard of a water leak under there. :?

Hey, neighbor. Do you have a sunroof? The A-pillar drain goes right through there. Open your door and see if you're packed with leaves and debris between the door/fender/pillar.

Open the sunroof and run a wire down the drain on that side. You may also want to remove your A-pillar trim and make sure the hose is still connected.

BTW bus, I just helped someone else out with this last week. Similar circumstances. He had so much debris built up, the hose plugged and was leaking into the headliner.

Yours may just be backed up down low, or the drain tube is disconnected up top, and the water is travelling down your A-pillar trim (something to keep in mind if you ever put a pillar pod in with gauges).

Hey, Guys. Just rolled in from 1st day of Jury Duty...

Alas, my SSE is the lowly version with minimal extras, so no sunroof is involved.
Would I still have a drain tube or somewhere debris can be diverting the water?

Also, I just had a new winshield installed today while I was at the Courthouse.
The installer told my Wife he had a hard time getting the trim to line up.
I've also had the rear trunk/window seal replaced, leading me to believe this car has been 'bumped' somewhere along the line before I got it.

I'll have to wait 'til it rains good again to see if the Parking Brake leak has been resolved by the new windshield installation.

As for the rear taillight lenses taking on water, I talked to the guy at the Boneyard and he told me the SSE and special editions in other body styles that have the 'black patterns' in the lenses are actually like a double layer that separates, causing leaks and 'unsightly separations' between the layers.
I bought a complete set of rear lenses/housings from an SE model and will have to look up that thread about the painting of same. I'll come up with my own pattern for it when the weather gets nicer.

SO, what do I look for up front on that leak if I don't have a sunroof? :D
