Default What sparks plugs do you recommend

Hi all-
wondering what spark plugs you use/recommend for my 97 Bonneville. I have the original plugs in there now and thought a new set may be in order. The car has 61K miles. I ck'd the price of the AC Delco iridium and they wanted $6 each at autozone.

Anyone use the bosch platinum +4? What about the NGK? I see a lot of platinum plugs out there ..any brand better than others?

thanks!
Rich

NGK v-power plugs have been the plug of choice for lots of the guys here, you can get them at advanced auto for under $2 a plug. I will be switching to the NGK plugs when i put the smaller pulley on my supercharger. Hope this helps!

Rich, if you are not in a rush GMPartsDirect.com has the Iridiums for a few bucks less. I put the Iridiums in my '96 and it runs very very nice...

Each of us have our own experience with different brands.

I'm on my second set of Bosch Platinums (standard) now at 204K. Use these in all my cars, including the '95 LT1.

Tried Delco for about 2 weeks some time ago. Got misfire. Learned lesson and returned to the Bosch.

For the life of me I can not understand why some on this site have had bad experiences with Bosch. Have I just been lucky? Of course, then again, I did have probs with Delco and others like them.

At 100K and at 200K those plugs had zero wear and looked like the day I put them in. My import mechanic brother did not believe I had 100K on the last set. He DOES use those as replacements though on all his import work.
