Airbag Problem '95 Bonne SE
Anyone ever seen this prob?
Left the sunroof open overnight, during the night it just happened to come one of the hardest rain storms I've seen in a while (unpredicted by our local news guys). Anyway, the passenger side floor accumulates a couple inches of water. The problem is now that the airbag light stays on. I suspect the SDM under the passengers seat but it could just be a coincidence that it crapped out at the same time as the water incident. I figured someone else here has probably left the roof open, so my questions to those that have done this are: Did it affect the airbag? Did it eventually dry out and start working?
BTW I don't get any codes related to the Air Bag.....The only code I get is the P0705 PRNDL switch failure. (Oh funny story here, the guy at Advance Auto Parts pulled the codes for me and scratched his head for a minute. I asked what it was, and he stated that he had never heard of a 'prindle' switch...He was serious)

This could spell trouble. One member had the airbags deploy while waiting for a green light. Another had a SRS light on but replacing the SDM unit didn't correct. Links are provided below. Get it checked out.

Thanks for the heads up...I've pulled the plugs on the bags temporarily just to be safe...
